Not a Podcast Update for Week 12

Baptist Ballers:

This past week we had three teams in must win games to keep their playoff hopes alive…Now all sitting at 6-6: El GridIronman had more Iron than the Irish Viking’s axe as he took her down 102-88; After the game, GridIron stated, “It just came down to execution. Down the stretch my team just stepped just did what they needed to do to execute the Vikings.”

Weslaco Nitta Time took down Texan Garcia, who lost largely because his top players underperformed…just like the real Texans…I probably shouldn’t have said that being that I play them this week and will probably get throttled by the same Texans!

Miagi-Do-ggz used the crane technique to pound Gallona’s poultry 150-97. This game was huge as it put Nathan-Son in the driver’s seat for a playoff spot.

Prestige Worldwide kept in his winning ways and scoring a league high 176 as he out-lucha’d the luchadores. Not far behind him in second overall, The Micah and Nathan Parker New England El bozos ho-ho-hosed down team hosey 142 to 105.

Puro 956 Chili-Dogs kept the indigestion away and kept a playoff spot in the RGV by taking down CCCKROMer who is frankly one of the most giving managers we have this year. Along with the Big Bad Foot, they started Christmas early by starting not one but 2 injured players just to give their opponents an extra chance…

Meaning this week…

Team Gallona and GridIronman are in must-win games against Luchadores and SA Miyagi-Do-ggz respectively. It will take huge victories to actually overtake them because of the total points tie-breakers, but if they continue winning and their opponents drop another one, those two teams could sneak into the playoffs!

Goliath Conquerers:

Another week is in the books for the Goliath Conqerors and there has been a lot of movement at the top in the East Division, but the Almighty Goose continues to have a strong grip on that top position.

The East continues to be the toughest division with only 2 teams under 500, and the west has only 2 teams above 500.

In the east, there is now a three way tie on top with Team Seek N Destroy, Thunder Lips, and PrimeTime. In the east the Almighty goose is still 1st place and has a chance to hold on to that spot from start to finish.

Team Seek N Destroy who was the hottest team with a 6 game win streak, as he dropped 1 to The A Team, who has a 1% chance of making the playoffs. Now there is a little story behind this as Matt traded 2 players to Adam and those 2 players were Adam’s 2nd & 3rd top point getters and were probably the difference makers, and probably caused Matt’s win streak to come to an end.

Team Thunder Lips has lost his last 2 and now there are 3 teams at 8-4 who sit a top of the East Division.

All at 8-4 is Team Seek N Destroy, Thunder Lips and PrimeTime.

MG Golf has won his last 2 to put himself to just a wedge out. He sits 1 game back and with 3 weeks remaining anything can happen. 


The final 3 positions in the East are held by Samsons Mullet, Tired of Winning, and Set People Free who have all lost their last 4 games.

In the West The Almighty Goose started in 1st place and has a chance to finish in 1st place with 1 more win. The closest competitor is Preachers Punishers who is 2 games behind.

Wesloko Mtz has won his last to to put himself just 3 games out.

3 games remain and the big game this week matches the Pastor and the Deacon. Preachers Punishers takes on MG Golf. A pair 7-5 teams who need a win to stay in the playoff hunt.
